- Excitement - to be read - 'panicking'

Last weekend I went to Rotterdam via Schiphol from Humberside. I went with Helen from work and the goal of the trip was to visit Eimskip in Rotterdam. That was on Monday but we went on Saturday. Needless to say I had a great time. Saturday night was great, went out and was slightly - erm, hmmm - under the influenze of alcohol. Then we were back Monday evening and I was at work Tuesday. Went to Iceland on Wednesday and that is where I am now. At mum and dad's place - hooray....

On Wednesday morning I woke up around 7, was going to get up at around 5.30 but... Well, so before I could get to Stansted I went into Immingham and dropped off a few things. And then I started on my drive to Stansted. I went the A46 and there was this massive traffic jam because of some Lincolnshire show. I even called the airport and checked what was the absolut latest I could be there so I would still be allowed to board the flight and it was 40 minutes. Then I called Björgvin to get his expert advise on what would be the fastest way I could get to the airport. Well I managed to get there and park and then I was in the line for the 'flight check in' with only 30 seconds to spare. I can say that I was slightly - ok very - stressed. But despite that I managed to do my good deed and check in with another girl who was likely to have overweight luggage - boy I'm good!! :-)

So now I am in Iceland and have finally relaxed a bit :-) I am going out tonight - Já, Auður - kvöldið í kvöld er kvöldið!!

Ég er búin að vera dugleg hérna á Íslandi, fór í Kringluna í gærkveldi, með skó í viðgerð og svo að sækja þá í morgun ásamt því að fara búð úr búð með mömmu. Svo heim að hengja úr vél og svo í Kópavoginn að versla og svo aðeins í Bónus að versla í matinn. Semsagt alltaf stuð á Fróni!!

Must go and get ready, and so on and so forth.
Take care.

- Another Bridge...

Right, so I have been really busy and all that but that is not really an excuse. However, an excuse is that my computer has died. Yes, it is all really sad and I am really feeling bad about it but there is not much to do. So I just don't think about it and pretend this hasn't happened, which is a very clever attitude to take.... hmpfh!

Firstly, I am working on getting some pics from Greece published on the WWW but with me being busy and all that...

Secondly, and I should really have started with that as the Icelandic nation has a saying that it is best to do bad things first - Illu er best af lokið. But I went to Manchester to see the football team of Iceland ridiculed by the English team. It was all really bad sportsmanship on behalf of the English guys.
We weren't allowed to touch the English because of that match agains France which they would be playing. Sven even said on TV that he was afraid of the Icelanders. Mind you, England LOST the match against France.....

Then another thing I should have started with as well - is that today is ICELAND'S INDEPENDENCE DAY. Congratualtions!! We even got pizzas for lunch from Eimskip UK, yum yum and thank you Eimskip :-p

These next days are going to be very busy for me. I am going to Rotterdam on Saturday, back on Monday. Then to Iceland on Wednesday and back the following Monday. The good bit about all this is that I only have 1 day at work next week :-) Hooray!!

Last Monday I had a carcrash, it was my fault and I am very angry at myself. There was not alot of damage involved or injuries except to my purse! That situation is really quite sad. Oh, well! Things happen for a reason don't they?!

Last night I went to the cinema in Hull, UCI. I saw 'the day after tomorrow'. It was very entertaining and made me think about what we are doing to this earth which has done nothing very bad to us. We are a stupid mankind.

Well, gotta go do some work and lay off on the save the world issues.

Before I go, my congratulations to Þóra who has gotten her second 'white cap'. Well done, and the next one will probably only be the grey hairs!

Take care
