Today has been great, I have been lazy and loved every minute of it. Actually this night I was very energized and didn't go to bed until around 5 this morning. I was clearing out my closet and really just having great fun. Despite this I woke up early, well sort of, and have been enjoying my clutter free closet. Now all I have to do is get all the stuff lying on the floor back into the closet in an orderly manor. I was going to do so many good things today, all I have managed so far is finish one book, start another and finish that one. Watch "The Witches of Eastwick" and "Never ever" or whatever the movie is called where Drew Barrymore play modern-day Cinderella, was it "Ever after"...? Also I heated a pizza in the oven and had that for breakfast and ate dried haddock with margarine as supper.
The other thing I am greatly proud of is that I changed my Brita capsule in my waterjug so I can drink sieved water from the tab. That should be good for one month.

It is truly amazing to me how time flies when you are doing nothing, like today. It is almost 8 pm and I feel like it is still morning. I really should do some more "home-y" stuff, like washing clothes and get my relatively new vacuum cleaner out of the car and I think I will now do a modest try to do something like that. Either that or start another book or watch some brain-deadening TV. After all, isn't this what Sundays are all about :-)

Yes, well, I was on the brink of giving up on doing this in English but technology stopped me. I wrote a bit in Icelandic and it came out all wrong, in stead of the beautiful Icelandic letters symbols appeared, symbols like this on "æ". All very sad. I guess I will just have to get the hang of this blogg thing or not. This is an either or not situation. Funny wording!

Well, first things first, work. As usual on weekdays I went to work, however today was slightly different than usual as I was suffering from bit of a hangover. Thankfully it was not very terrible, and it got a lot better after I went to the chinese at lunch with Dawn D, Debbie, Karen S and Karen W. It is magic what a bit of chicken in garlic sauce can do.
Work has been very busy lately and many things have been happening. That is good since that means that something is actually being done.

I can't say that life here in the UK isn't what I imagined since I didn't think to much about it before I arrived. It is useless to worry about things beforehand and better just to deal with them when they pop up - if they pop up at all. There are some things that have really caught my attention. First of all I feel I have to mention the bank system. It is crappy. Way to much bureaucracy and everything is soooo difficult. I actually stormed out of the bank once, I was so angry.
Another thing I remember now is the way people here seem to call everybody "love" or "darling". This woman at the bank did this to me, it was not long after I had arrived and I was there trying to open up my account. It ended with me storming out as I said but not before I had told her that I was not her "darling" - or something in that direction.
It is allright in tiny amounts but I can get absolutely fuming if there is to much of it.

Oh well, thought I might as well so this blog stuff, just as everybody else. I have made the "political decision" to have it in English... more or less, that is, since I am currently living in the UK and so on.
I have had my share of making up websites and so on, but from what I gather, this blog is "it" so I am persuaded to abandon my website(s). I will probably put up a link to a website or two at some time, though...
Well, now it is Wednesday and I am at home here in Healing. I have recently discovered a new liking for white wine, so this evening I opened a bottle of "Blue Nun" which is, mind you a "Qualitätswein"!! It has been a very nice day, went to work this morning after some struggling with waking up and had a nice day there, as well as a nice evening since I stayed on a bit. Came home and I have no patience to watch TV at the moment which might come as a shock to some... so I am spending my time on the Internet and hopefully I will have this to show for it. I am going to try this for now and head on to some editing to this blog site.... Bye for now :)
