- Athens...!!

Phew, it is truly amazing. Everything is happening now. Frederik has just gotten married to his Mary and I didn't watch it. Mamma rang to let me hear a little part of it so as I was walking around the Acropolis I listened in on The Wedding via telephone from Iceland. How international is that. CNN only showed a little bit about it so when I get back I will have to find some magazines or something I suppose.

Then tonight there is Eurovision 2004. And I changed my flight so I am back in London tonight, just in time for a Eurovisionparty! I will be really miffed though if Greece wins...! And it had better be a good party!

Well, I suppose I had better sort out how to get to the airport. And I have to check out of the hotel and do loads of stuff. Instead I am just spending time online. Well I have 36 minutes left on my prepaid time and I doubt I will be back any time soon to finish it.

The Trip: Fantastic!! We had a great time sailing around the Greek Islands in the Saronic Gulf. We visited loads of different places. And one of the islands had no cars - Hydra. On that island we sent for a walk up to a monastery because renting a donkey was too expensive. Sounds weird, but true. So we went up and it was cool. Everything was closed, but the view was beatiful. Then Soren, Betina, Camilla and Lissi went the same way down but Morten and me decided to walk a bit more to other monasteries and take a good look around. We managed to get to the other end of the island and it was amazing, ocean as far as the eye could see. Ok, so I wasn't wearing my glasses, but I had my contacts and Morten only saw ocean as well.

Ah s**t, time is running out. Not on my internet time but I am about to be to late for the flight. Must go.

Take care.

- So much to write about but soooo little time!!

I was really going to jot down a few lines, ummm, approximately 3 weeks ago. It was supposed to be about some sort of a conspiracy theory. I had massive problems with the 'trusty' car. But now all that will have to wait - have also forgotten bits of it.

The reason for this not being on top of my mind is that I am on holiday. Yessiree, and it is great. I took the train from the craddle of all intellectual life - Grimsby - to Gatwick the 30th of May, stayed there overnight, well, the 3 hours I had before my early flight. Then it was to the airport and I was off. Landed a few hours later in a place infinitely more cultural than Grimnsby in my mind. Yes, in Athens. There I waited for a few scary minutes after my companions who were arriving approx. 30 min later from DK. Then the driver had showed up and we were off.

We went directly to the yacht, unpacked but didn't leave port until the morning after. I am sharing a cabin with Morten and that is going really well. So no worries there. Well actually, no worries more or less anywhere. The week has gone by really well, I have not been seasick - 7-9-13!! At the moment we are in Hydra, a small island without motorised transport.
Two days ago we were in Spetses, there we went with a horsecarriage to the beach. Despite the water not really being warm enough, Soren, Morten and me went for a swim. Oooohh, that was freezing cold, brrr!
Then yesterday we sailed and anchored in a small cove/bay and jumped in. The same three brave persons. I went in first. I really felt sorry for the guys.... hmmm!! After a few minutes we got used to this and swam to the beach and around a bit and then back to the boat. It was about 300 metres, I think. And I only think that because the captain thinks so :-)

Well I am checking out now, was only going to check a few things out on the internet and now all of a sudden half an hour has gone by.

More later, take care.
