-A most unexciting Valentine's weekend...

Yes, this weekend was boring. Although I did get some serious loving in the form of licking and nibbling it was not the type that does 'it' for me. I spent the weekend puppy-sitting for my fellow Healing townsfolk. They went out of town and I graciously agreed to spend some time with their cute puppy. Well, I can tell those who didn't know that it is more hard work than babysitting. I honestly don't remember this from Trína, the family dog. She was of course always perfect ;-)

But even though I really couldn't go anywhere or do anything, it wasn't so bad as the owners of the puppy have SKY. At some time I was honestly wooried that the TV would melt over. Luckily for my sanity it didn't. I really must look into getting SKY. But I can see that if I do I will probably not be able to go to bed. I will spend every hour in front of the big image box.

Lately I have been hooked by the urge and need to do some baking - of course I have done none. But it's a beginning and it comes at a good time, this urge, as soon it is my turn to invite the women in the Icelandic 'evening' society to my place. That will be fun...! Hmmm! :-)
I should make something soon to test the oven. I suppose I could always take it into work if it is terrible. Unfortunately my good friends from the docks in Iceland will miss it. They usually appreciated my baking master pieces, even if I humbly call them so myself.

On to the subject of saint Valentine. I sure am glad that I flatly refused all Valentine's cards, otherwise I would have obviously been drowned in cards ;-) I just don't have time for such things !! :-)

Anyways, it is Monday. This weekend, despite it's uneventfullness has simply sped by. I am now fervently hoping that the week will do the same. Tonight after work I went to JJB. I am planning on purchasing a bicycle and I intend to ride my bicycle to work. Bicycle, bicycle, I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike... !!! I really do hope that I will actually do this, actually the only reason I didn't buy a bike this evening was that they only had the cheap bike in red and I am going to wait a bit until they get another delivery and hopefully there will be a blue cheap bike in there. This spur of healthiness will probably mean that I must start my journey to work before the rooster cuckoos - if one can say that ?!
