Hi, wow did I ever sound depressed in my last post!! Anyway, well over that now, was just suffering from a panic attack at that time - which is more or less exactly the same as every other Icelandic person at that time.

Latest news are that now I am officially a year older. I have reached the prestigious age of 28. Yes, it is quite shocking but now it would seem that I should actually qualify as an adult. Isn't that just the funniest thing you have ever heard!?

Other news, not so joy-us as the previous are that last Tuesday a murder was committed here in Healing. A woman and her 2 young daughters were murdered. The suspect is her ex husband and he jumped from the Humber Bridge. He left the youngest girl, a year old, in a car nearby. She was alive. The poor baby has now lost her whole family. It is quite terrible thinking that at the time I was here at home watching telly or reading a book these lives were being ended. It was in a house just by the post office, so very close to my house.

Now the time is almost 4.30 in the morning. I should be asleep but sleep is eluding me. I was over at Auður and Björgvin. They were out on a posh ball so I sat with their lovely children - lovely being the operative word as the kids were asleep. Well at least most of the time.
I am going to get up at 7.30 and drive to London, can hardly imagining that happening now but I really must as this is already planned. A visit to the Museum of London is on the cards as well as a nice evenign out at an either Russian or Brasilian restaurant. Mmmm, yum yum. If we go for Russian i am strongly tempted to go for 'pelmeni'.

Well better get to bed, have to wake up early, check the oil and water and pressure in the tyres and get a new bulb for my right headlight. Best to have that in order. One-eyed cars are really a nuisance.

Take care and good night, or should I perhaps have it as good morning!!
